Pack your bags for 9 days in Norway and 7 days of Sail & Ski in the magnificent Lyngen Alps! Departing from Tromsø, a skipper and local guide will show you their best ski touring (or splitboard) spots, including Kågen, Arnøya and Ringvassøya.
This trip has been imagined in collaboration with the HELLY HANSEN team, who usually send their athletes out on this boat to take photos of their best lines.

You can arrive whenever you like in Tromso. We've arranged a hotel for you this evening, so you'll be ready and on time for the boat tomorrow. It's also an opportunity to get to know the other participants over dinner (not included) and discover the city.

Welcome aboard
We let you arrive in Tromsø harbor before 4:00 pm. You settle into yourbunk. Before setting sail, we explain sails, we explain the safety routines on board and familiarize you with the boat. Before it gets too late in the evening, we cast off for a natural harbor where you'll spend your first night at anchor.
We'll have dinner on the way, and like any boat, everyone pitches in to prepare dinner, set the table, clear away, wash the dishes, clean up: Real sailor life 😉

Day 3
Ullstinden
1093 m
Ski touring
First navigation and first ski track
Wake up at anchor and enjoy breakfast. Head for Ullstinden, with its 1093-metre altitude, which is probably the first summit you'll climb. After a weather weather report and avalanche check, we disembark on the west side to climb, and freeride down on the east side. Once you've explored the summit, you head north.
We anchor up and prepare a convivial dinner.

Day 4 & 5
Arnøya
Store Kågtind
Lyngen
A string of fjords
For two days, you'll explore the northern tip of the Lyngen peninsula, an ideal starting point for starting point for many of the peaks of the Lyngen Alps or to the surrounding islands. We'll anchor at either Arnøya or Store Kågtind. As for the rest of the trip, that depends on the weather and conditions. Either way, you're in for a real treat!

Day 6 & 7

Ready to ski 70° North?
Your skipper and guide will take you skiing on peaks that occupy incredible locations and offer beautiful views of the whole Lyngen region. Once the day is over, we prepare dinner and set course for another summit. We'll find a natural harbor where we can spend the night at anchor. Weather and conditions always determine which spots can be made, but your Captain always has a good plan 😉

Day 8
Back

Port
The last line before the return journey
If you've still got energy in your legs, let's wake up early this morning and take a last, short ski short ski outing to one of the nearest mountains north of Tromsø. After lunch and back back on board, we head straight back to our final destination: Tromsø. We'll take our time cleaning, packing and getting off the boat before finishing the trip by 4pm at the latest.
You can now return to your hotel for your last night on Norwegian soil.

Ski touring: Between 300 & 500 m D+.
The program is given as an indication and may be modified by the guide on the day. He's a mountain professional and a local. Depending on his experience, snow conditions and avalanche risk, he will adapt the itinerary to give you the best possible experience.

Memories fill the head
We'll let you have breakfast and enjoy the fresh Norwegian air one last time before saying goodbye. So you can either continue your adventure in Viking land, or head home.
