We'll take you to the best spots between fir trees and virgin snow peaks, to track down the wild combes of the area. When it comes to equipment, we've chosen the crème de la crème! One of the founders of snowboarding, BURTON, will supply your board and a pair of socks for your toes!
So leave the groomed pistes to the "monchus", and come and take a shot of fresh powder to trace your curves in total freedom...
Rendezvous at the HIDEOUT hostel, a great spot in Morzine that will get you to the resort quickly the next morning. Tonight is your chance to meet the other people who are here to share your stay with you!
If you plan to arrive after 10:00 pm, please send a short message on the group's WhatsApp so that the hosts can welcome you or give you the necessary instructions. We'll leave you to get your strength back and rest up for tomorrow, which promises to be a busy day...

We gear up with the pros!
Meet at the BURTON Store in Avoriaz at 9am. There you'll pick up your board, which you'll have at your disposal for the whole weekend. Your Captains for the day will be there to guide you in choosing the right equipment for the conditions, your level and your type of riding.
We take off for a short D+ warm-up and stop off at a hut for an avalanche prevention briefing. After the essential safety briefing and distribution of essential avalanche transceivers, shovels and probes, we glue on the skins and check out the use of the equipment in real-life conditions, and off we go!

Take a picnic break to build up your strength, then put on your Splits and off we go again! Depending on the conditions, Johann or Serif will take you up Les Jordières or Les Crètes D'Arare, 2 of the estate's finest itineraries. You'll see, it's sublime, starting out in the fir trees, then opening up to the wide open spaces of the virgin slopes.
Just enough time to fine-tune your conversions and warm up your calves, and you'll be at the summit, ready to draw your lines on the snowy slopes! 5pm return to the BURTON Store. On the program: an outdoor sports film, of course! Then back to the hotel around 7pm to enjoy the hotel bar, followed by dinner at 8:30pm!

Morning and afternoon, one thing leads to another!
After the previous day's warm-up, we attack a little further, a little higher. And off we go for an itinerary that will take you the whole day: new horizons, picnic in the bag and water bottle to hand. This time we're not messing around, we're going to find some great lines to trace on the heights, to end up riding in the forest, the Avoriaz special not to be missed.
Careful not to get lost in the woods, we'll be in the wild 😉

We've all ridden with a Burton on our feet, and it's only fitting that we introduce you to this iconic brand, in recognition of all it has done for our favorite sport. With Franck, Léo and Alice from Burton, just 5 minutes from the Captain Wild lair, we don't have to exert ourselves to create such great camps that you'll sometimes bump into Axel, who manages to slip in for a few dates whenever he gets the chance.
