What's your team? Pain au chocolat or Chocolatine? Either way, you know that when Chef David dons his harness in the heart of the Pyrenees, you're in for a treat!
So get ready, you're following the SIMOND brand and your Captain David (a member of the chocolatine team), on a 2-day 1st Multi-Pitch trip to the heart of the Pyrenees National Park.
Between two sessions to perfect your technique, you set up camp for your totally wild Bivouac, at the top of the most beautiful cliffs, to finish with the grail, the Multi-Pitch.
Rendezvous this morning at Plan d'Aste, altitude 1470. The whole team meets David, your captain on this trip! After checking your individual equipment, he gives you a briefing for the weekend and talks about your previous experiences.

You follow David on the approach to the Larribet hut at 2070m. There we drop off our bivouac gear and pick up our climbing gear for the "school" routes located some fifteen minutes from the refuge. You'll discover your new playground with the region's athletic granite routes!
You check in with David, preparing for the maneuvers, your feelings, your objectives and your level for the next day's Multi-Pitch .

You're getting to the heart of the matter!
After a good picnic to get us all revved up, we start climbing! David will assess your level on equipped routes from 3 to 6B. It's up to you.
The afternoon is an opportunity to observe everyone's level of climbing and to make specific technical contributions in preparation for the following day: review of the basics of movement, belaying, roping, belaying, abseiling techniques, etc. You'll be able to refine your knowledge and progress at your own pace!

After a great afternoon of learning, you return to the refuge to collect your belongings and set up your bivouac close to the refuge, at an altitude of 2000m.
We all debrief our first day together over dinner at the summit! Then it's back to your tent for a night in incredible wilderness, lulled by the fresh mountain breeze.

Today's the big day: you're going to do your Multi-Pitch in its entirety, and that's class! You fill up on energy with a good breakfast, then we break camp, leaving your bivouac gear at the refuge to keep things light.
You then follow David for a 45-minute approach walk to the "Excelsa watches over you" sector, a magnificent route lit up by the morning sun.

Let's get down to business!
Once you've reached your destination, it's on this terrain perfectly suited to your level that you'll carry out your Multi-Pitch of the day! Depending on your level, we'll start with 2 or 4 pitches.
The guide can also leave one or two roped parties on their own (on the same route as themselves), or take on two seconds who, once at the belay station, in turn take on their second.
Once you've made the ascent, you'll abseil back down. We'll have a snack together and talk about your experience before heading back to the cars to collect your belongings for the bivouac at the refuge.
The time has come for you to say goodbye to your band and your Captain!
