HOKA was born on steep mountain trails
And that's where we met them. First of all Nicolas, one of the founders of the brand with the unmistakable sole. Then Julien and Charlotte, with whom we began to imagine the HOKA Trail stays, enabling everyday Trailers and Runners to join the HOKA team for a unique experience!
THE HOKA WORD
Radical change often stems from an attempt to solve a simple problem. Our initial goal was to improve the times of long-distance runners by creating a shoe that would enable them to get down the mountain faster. And so, unintentionally, we reinvented the running shoe.
Our new shoes have also improved the climbing experience. And down. And climbing. We realized that a shoe that helped one athlete run 150 km in difficult conditions could also help all other runners.
Our philosophy is as much inspired by Surfing, Skiing and Cycling as it is by Running, and the patented elements we incorporated into our first shoe, the HOKA® Difference, influence every model we create.
