Originally known as Humanic, Dynafit launched its first ski boot in 1950.
15 years later, Dynafit was the first to launch the buckle boot, but its international renown would be built on the pioneering spirit of Fritz Barthel and the development of Low Tech insert bindings.
Over the years, Dynafit has become a major force in the history of ski-mountaineering and particularly ski touring, involving its athletes in the research and development of its products to meet the expectations and needs of pros and leisure skiers alike. This is how, for example, the new Hoji Lock zero lock system was born, the first real ski touring boot.
Dynafit is committed to the protection of the snow leopard and works with the Snow Leopard Trust. The Trust establishes community partnerships and supports scientific projects to protect the endangered snow leopard.
