Jani is a qualified mountain bike guide from a small town Črna, in Slovenia's Koroška province. He was born and raised in the Peca Mountain region, which is the last 2000-meter-high mountain in the Southeastern Alps (Karawanks).
Over the years of guiding, he has gained a wealth of experience, while maintaining the fun factor of his sport at the highest level. Attention to detail and positive energy are his main characteristics as a guide.
In addition to guiding and riding, Jani is a passionate trail builder, involved in the legalization and maintenance of local trails. He is a long-standing partner of the Black Hole Bike Festival, which organizes SloEnduro Series races as well as the Enduro World Series (2018, 2022).
Jani is always happy and proud to show his guests a few hidden spots in the local forests, so he'll give you an intimate and privileged experience! Mind you, you'll just have to speak English or Slovenian with him, but that's the charm of the trip 🙂
