When you've got a Wikipedia page, you've really got your game face on! François has his Brevet d'Etat des Activités du Cyclisme and is a professional in Cross-Country and Enduro.

François Bailly-Maître is a cross-country racer and member of the Scott Les Saisies team. After a good start, including becoming French U23 cross-country champion in 2005, he specializes in long distances, marathons and technical races, which he feels suit him better.

His excellent downhill technique has enabled him to win particularly tricky races, such as the Transvésubienne and the Mavic Free Trail.

From 2007, he was involved in the development of mountain bike-specific products at JULBO, an eyewear equipment manufacturer based in Longchaumois.

In 2013, he left Scott to sign with the Swiss BMC Mountain bike Racing Team, for an Enduro program.

In 2011, François Bailly-Maître finalized a project for an open-access bike park in Longchaumois, near his Location home.
