We've all dreamed of becoming one of the elite mountain guides. Alexandre (Alex to his friends), for his part, has managed to carve out a special place for himself among his compatriots!
Apart from the fact that he climbs peaks, and achieves feats on a daily basis, what sets Alex apart as a guide is his ability to descend steep slopes on a monoski! His achievements include the Satopanth (7075 m) in India's Gangotri National Park, and more recently his expedition to Mount Logan (5,954 m) with his companions Hélias Millerioux, Thomas Delfino and Grégory Douillard, where they were the first to ride the East Ridge, a ridge with a vertical drop of some 3800 m.
An active member of the "Te Crew" association since its creation in 2007, which promotes sporting and cultural activities for young people in Chamonix, he also carries out actions abroad, such as in India in autumn 2011, when he sent new equipment to a local climbing school!
