Story

Pierre-Alain is one of the pioneers of mountain biking in Switzerland(hall of fame), following a long career in road racing: 14 years, including 3 at the highest amateur level.

He discovered mountain biking in 1984. Founder and owner of MBA, he arrived in Morocco on October 28, 1990 to take part in the "Rallye des Moniteurs", the first mountain bike event to be organized on Moroccan soil.

He finished on the podium, but Morocco left its mark on this adventurer.

In 1992 he moved to Marrakech and developed the mountain bike business for foreign tour operators.

In 1999, he set up his own company, and in 2000, he organized the first Marrakech Trophy for a French agency. This event, coupled with the arrival of enduro riding in Europe, propelled Morocco to the top of the mountain bike rankings.

The Atlas trails have been a resounding success, with riders of all styles, from cross-country skiers and enduro riders to freeriders: Georges Edwards, Fred Glo, Christophe "momo" Moreira and, later, Julien Absalon (double Olympic champion and current XC world champion), Fabien Barel (double downhill world champion) and Mark Weir (iconic American rider).
